Highschool prom is a fun and memorable evening, but the days leading up to it can be quite stressful, especially if cannot afford a nice prom dress. Operation Glass Slipper allows you to donate your gently used prom dress for students who wish to attemd prom, but can't get a dress.
Between now and March 16, you can drop off your dress, accessories, and shoes at a variety of participating locations: Princesa at the Boulevard Mall, Humana Guidance Center (1000 N. Green Valley Pkwy), Humana-Summerlin (8975 W. Charleston Blvd.), Office of Dr. Pat Simone (70 N. Pecos Rd.), Patty's Closet, Vegas Cheer Authority (3630 N. 5th Street), Coterie (515 East Fremont), Sparkle-Summerlin (9440 W. Sahara Ave), Sparkle- Rainbow (7920 S. Rainbow Blvd.) and Stitch Factory (300 N. Las Vegas Blvd.).
On Saturday, March 23 from 10am-3pm, students will be able "shop" for a dress and accessories at the Stitch Factory (300 N. Las Vegas Blvd.). The dresses are free and the Las Vegas Prom Closet is staffed completely by volunteers, so all donations directly benefit the students.
