"Why Do We Sing-The Evolution of African-American Music" , cosponsored by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, the JHMA chorus along with youth from the community, share reasons and circumstances of why we sing. The historical music genres of jazz, spirituals and gospel will be explored and performed in this festive occasion. Admission is free but tickets are required and may be picked up in advanceat the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
