Black History Month Festival
In celebration of Black History Month, come join the Springs Preserve as they celebrate their 4th annual Black History Month Festival. This festival will take place Saturday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be live performances by youth step groups and local jazz bands. Also joining Dr. My Haley, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "Roots," will autograph copies of her novel "The Treason of Mary Louvestre." This festival also features activities for the kids, including arts and crafts, carnival games and face-painting. Admission is $5 for adults aged 13 and older and free for children 12 and under.
