Camp Foxtail offers a wide variety of specialized camp sessions that focus on leadership within the Girl Scout initiatives: Environment, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship, Healthy Living, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Summer sessions begin June 16 and run through August 11. Session prices range from $50 to $295. Girls must be a registered member of Girl Scouts to attend Camp Foxtail. Membership is $12 annually and can be purchased at the same time as camp sessions. Resident camp is open to girls in grades 4 to 12. About Camp Foxtail Camp Foxtail (est 1949), located in the Toiyabe National Forest, provides Girl Scouts age 8-17 with traditional resident camp experiences. Programs encourage leadership through activities such as hiking, biking, rock climbing, adventure courses, singing, arts and crafts, campfires and much more.
