The Henderson Historical Society (HHS) will host its first “Henderson Speaks” Lecture Series. The series will feature presenters William (Bill) Boyd and former Henderson Mayor James Gibson, as well as former Henderson councilman and business pioneer, Lou LaPorta. Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen will provide opening remarks and Nevada State College history professor, Peter LaChapelle, will moderate the lecture as guests learn about Henderson’s history from the people who were there when it happened. The lecture will take place in the John C. Kish Auditorium Lecture Room located in the Caesar J. Caviglia Academic Building of the CSN Henderson campus.
