The Henderson Professional Fire Fighters (HPFF), in partnership with the Henderson Firefighters Benevolent Association, will be sponsoring and competing against the Henderson Police Officers' Association (HPOA) in the 4th Annual S.A.F.E House "Run for Shelter."

The HPFF and the HPOA have each created "running teams" to compete to cross the finish line first, as well as compiling the most members to participate. This is the second year of their involvement.

Proceeds from the event will go towards a number of critical programs that offer emergency shelter, counseling and advocacy for families impacted by domestic violence.

Participation in the "Run for Shelter" is open to the public. Participants can register at www.active.com. The registration fee is $25 prior to November 10th, $30 until the day of the event, and $35 on the day of the event.
