The Nevada Council of the Blind is holding it’s annual convention to further enlighten members, family and friends there is life after blindness.  The convention theme is: “Dream It and Achieve It”.

The Convention will begin at 5:30 pm on Friday, October 12, 2012, and last until 8:30 pm Friday evening.

On Saturday, October 13, the convention will begin at 10 am and go until 4 pm. 

Lunch will be provided.

On Friday evening there will be a Round Table discussion from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on enlarging of the Bureau of Services to the Blind and Visually Impaired (BSBVI) and the creation of a new agency for the blind and deaf together instead of the Rehabilitation agency proposed elimination of the BSBVI.

All Legislators, blind and visually impaired individuals, deaf person and family and friends are invited to attend the Round Table discussion and the convention.
