(U-CAN) United College Action Network in partnership with NAACP Las Vegas Chapter, Las Vegas Black Image and Clark County School District Historically Black College Recruitment Fair
This will be a 4 day event. Locations will be listed below. Students should come prepared with a copy of their highschool transcript and ACT and /or SAT score (s), if taken , for each college application they plan to complete. Students will be able to receive *ON THE SPOT admissions and scholarships *Application fee waived for many colleges *Face to face contact with official college admission reprentatives. *Exposure to over 35 Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) *Assistance and information regarding SAT and ACT college admission testing *Some schools will accept students with a G.P.A. as low as a 2.O. The U-CAN HBCU Fair is free, open to the public and all students are welcome. Minority scholarships may be offered to non-African-American students. Sept 16th event will begin at 3:00p.m and end at 6:00pm. The remaining events will all begin at 8:30am -12:30pm Sunday Sept 16th, 2012 Location: William U.
