University Medical Center will host a blood drive with United Blood Services Thursday, August 30, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the UBS BloodMobile outside the UMC Bistro. All donors will receive a voucher for two admissions to see The Mentalist at the V-Theater courtesy of David Saxe Productions. As Southern Nevada’s community blood provider, United Blood Services relies on blood donations to make sure blood is available for anyone who needs it. UBS has a critical need for type O negative blood, which is the universal donor and can be given to all other blood types.
