Easter Seals Nevada invites community members to their“Small Miracles Tours” at the Oakey Facility to see first-hand what their support means to children and adults living with disabilities through the “small miracles” experienced by obtaining services from Easter Seals. The tours will take attendees through the Adult Day Program, Child Community Development center and the “Small Miracles” hall, a corridor filled with colorful and lively photographs of Easter Seals Nevada clients and their families. Each photograph tells an inspiring story of how Easter Seals is committed to creating solutions that make it possible for children and adults with developmental disabilities to reach milestones and work towards independence. The tours will also include the unveiling of the community partner wall where guests can place their hand print inside a canvas heart to pledge their commitment in supporting early intervention services and the Easter Seals mission. The tours will continue to take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month and will be followed by a reception. Interested attendees should RSVP to Pam Lang pam.lang@eastersealsnevada.org.
