'Rock of Vegas' summer concert series at Fremont Street Experience

Come experience the “best of times” at Fremont Street Experience during the “Rock of Vegas” concert series featuring a free concert by Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx, Saturday, June 9 at 9 p.m. on the 1st Street Stage. DeYoung, a founding member of the rock group Styx, is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and record producer. He wrote and sang several classics including: “Lady”, “Come Sail Away”, “Best of Times”, “Mr. Roboto”, “Show Me the Way”, “Desert Moon”, “Don't Let It End”, and the 1979 Peoples Choice Award winner, “Babe”. His singing talents have made his voice one of the most recognizable in the world. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy free nightly entertainment including an elaborately staged production show, ROCK CANDY Sticky Sweet, a cover band paying homage to the hair band era, Dirty Pairadice, and 80s stadium rock tribute band, ARENA. Fremont Street Experience’s three stages will be rockin’ every night as the 100-day ‘Rock of Vegas’ summer concert series takes over downtown through Labor Day Weekend.
