The Arthritis Foundation's Nevada office invites the public to join the Nevada Arthritis Walk on Saturday, October 1 at the Village Lake Las Vegas Ranch,15 Costa di Lago, Henderson, Nevada. Registration opens at 8:00a.m. and the walk begin at 9:00a.m. The Arthritis Walk is the Arthritis Foundation's annual nationwide signature event the raises funds and awareness to find a cure for the nation's leading cause of disability. Participants walk as individuals or in teams in honor of a friend or family member with arthritis. People with arthritis wear blue hat to signify their action in taking control of their condition. The events feature a one-mile and three-mile course with arthritis information and activities for the entire family. Participants are welcome to bring their dogs as long as they are on a non- retractable leash.
