Contrary to popular believe, safe drivers may pay more for auto insurance.

A new report from the consumer federation of america says some of the largest auto insurers now use your job, education and even whether you own or rent, to predict your chance of an accident.

So someone who rents an apartment and has no degree could pay a higher premium than, someone with a car accident on their driving record, who has a degree and owns a home.
