Credit reporting errors
Do you have good credit?
A study of the U.S. credit reporting industry by the Federal Trade Commission says 5 percent of consumers have errors on one of their three major credit reports.
The FTC says those mistakes could lead to those people paying more for things likes auto loans and insurance.
The good news is, the study found after filing a dispute, four out of five consumers did see some change to their credit report.
