Keep your info safe when using wi-fi
People do it everyday, browsing the internet at your local coffee shop. But Laptop Magazine says it's important to know how to keep your information and files secure.
First of all, you may share your music library or other files with others. But unless you disable those settings before connecting to a public wi-fi network, anyone may be able to hack into your device.
You should also use a Virtual Private Network or VPN. It routes your traffic through a secure network even on public wi-fi. There are free VPN services, as well as ones you can pay for.
