Cell phones on planes
Airlines are getting tougher with passengers over cell phone use.
Nearly everyone has a smart phone or other electronic device these days. And flight attendants are apparently losing their patience trying to enforce the rule of no in-flight use of those devices.
That's why the Federal Aviation Administration has formed a committee to evaluate the regulations, policies and procedures surrounding the rule. The committee is experted to report its recommendations to the FAA in six months.
There's been a lot of talk about losing up on the rule. But experts say most flight attendants clearly say phones must be completely off, not even in airplane mode.
