PC sales down
Holiday-season sales of personal computers fell for the first time in more than five years.
It turns out more people are opting for tablet devices and smartphones these days. That's especially bad news for Microsoft, which provides the software for nine out of every 10 PC devices made worldwide. But Microsoft is releasing a new tablet later this month called Surface.
