Travel trends this year
Are you making any plans to travel in 2013? USA Today is reporting on the top trends to look out for in the new year.
For one, expect to pay more for your plane tickets. You can also expect to pay more money in fees, for things like checked bags and rental car extras.
USA Today reports more airlines are also joining forces, so there will be less competition.
The good news is, experts say we'll see more protection from the Transportation Department, in terms of transparency in airline ticket pricing and contracts.
