Safest cars for 2013
Are you in the market for a new car in 2013? The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has a list of the safest models.
It's singling out 13 cars as a Top Safety Pick. They are the Acura TL; Dodge Avenger and the Chrysler 200 4-door; Ford Fusion; Honda Accord 2-door and Honda Accord 4-door.
Also on the list, the Kia Optima; Nissan Altima 4-door; Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback; Suzuki Kizashi; Volkswagen Passat and Volvo S60.
The Insurance Institute says these cars offer the highest level of all-around crash protection.
