Plans for wireless service from Dish Network
Dish Network appears to be one step closer to it's goal of providing wireless service. The chairman for the Federal Communications Commission says he backs the plan.
Dish Network has been fighting for awhile on the right to create a wireless internet service that would compete against AT&T and Verizon.
But this isn't any where near being a done deal. The plan still needs the approval of the FCC's four other commissioners, which is expected to vote on the plan before the end of the year. If approved, the new network still wouldn't be up and running until at least 2015.
