Child's travel bed recall
We have a Contact 13 consumer alert for parents. Especially if you're going some where for the holidays and have a travel bed for your little one.
KidCo Inc. is recalling 220,000 Pea Pod tents and Pea Pod Plus Travel Beds. Infants and young children can roll off the edge of the inflatable air mattress, and get trapped between the mattress and the fabric sides of the tent, and suffocate.
A 5-month-old boy died of suffocation according to The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The following models and corresponding tent fabric colors are included in this recall:
P100 Teal
P101 Red
P102 Lime
P103 Periwinkle
P104 Ocean
P201 Princess/Red
P202 Camouflage
P203 Quick Silver
P204 Sagebrush
P205 Cardinal
P900CS Green
