Top 12 scams of Christmas
It's important to be safe online. To help, security technology firm McAfee has released its "Top 12 Scams of Christmas."
The list goes over some of the ways criminals plan to rip you off while you're shopping online this holiday season. They include, social media scams. Cybercriminals will use channels like Facebook and Twitter, so be careful when clicking or liking any post.
Also, look out for malicious mobile apps designed to steal your information. And look out for Dangerous e-cards. What you think is a holiday greeting from a friends, could contain spyware or viruses that download onto your computer once you click on the link.
