Busy postal season
If you're mailing a holiday gift somewhere, don't procrastinate. The busiest mailing day for the postal service will be December 17th, when an estimated 658 million cards, letters and packages will be processed.
The busiest holiday delivery day is just 3 days later on December 20th. And some holiday military trivia for you: the postal service will process over 29 million pounds of mail for military installations. That includes Afghanistan and Iraq.
