Report on expensive toys this holiday
It's going to be an expensive holiday season if you have young kids.
According to Time Magazine, toy prices are increasing well beyond inflation. Looking at the Toys"R"Us fabulous 15, 10 of the hottest toys for the holiday season this year cost $50 or more. The report says the average price on the hot toy list is $83, up from $62 last year.
Some of the hottest toys cost more than $100. For example, the hottest LEGO product this year, the Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle costs $129. The Time Magazine
In case you were wondering what the cheapest toy on the hot list is, it's the new Angry Birds app for just $9. But your kid needs a $200 iPod Touch or a $400 iPad to play it on.
