Nevada AG warns of misleading advertisments
A Contact 13 Consumer Alert to warn you about concerning an ad in the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Nevada Attorney General says there was an advertisement that was misleading in the August 29th paper. It was from the World Reserve Monetary Exchange and looked like an official news story.
The company sells coins, paper currency, and safes and placed an ad selling bags of government issued notes for $149. Officials say that's well below the value of what people are receiving.
The AG's office says the Better Business Bureau handed the World Reserve Monetary Exchange an F rating, logged 249 complaints against the company, mostly for misleading advertisements.
