Ford recall
Ford is recalling certain 2013 Escape vehicles. The recalled SUVs were equipped with 1.6L engines.
It turns out engine coolant could leak on the engine, possibly starting a fire. Ford will notify owners and dealers will fix the issue free of charge.
The safety recall is expected to begin on, or about, September 10. Anyone with questions or concerns can call ford at (866) 436-7332.
