New Walmart app could make shopping experience faster
Walmart is testing a new app that it hopes will make your shopping experience easier.
The app is called Scan & Go. It allows shoppers to scan items using their iPhones and then pay at a self-check-out counter. Walmart officials say pushing more shoppers to scan their own items and make payments without the help of a cashier could save the retailer millions of dollars.
Shoppers often complain online about long lines and that it takes too long to pay at Walmart.
