Independent foreclosure review
Did you go through a foreclosure in 2009 or 2010? There's some good news if you're looking to have your foreclosure reviewed.
The deadline to request a free independent review has been extended to December 31. The government is requiring 14 mortgage servicers to conduct the reviews to find misrepresentations and errors in the foreclosure process. Homeowners could be compensated up to $125,000.
