Text scam promises free Apple stuff
An old scam is making the rounds again. Beware of text messages offering free Apple products.
The text includes a link and gives a code to allegedly claim your prize. But be careful. It turns out if you click on the link and follow the directions, you may actually face some fees in the process.
And the webpage you're directed to goes on to ask for some of your personal information. Experts say it's important to never click on any link involving a text from someone you don't know.
