BBB warning on door-to-door sales
The Better Business Bureau is warning the public about door-to-door salesmen. The BBB says it's received more than a thousand complaints about door-to-door sales this year.
And that number is on its way to doubling last year's 1,300 complaints. Many of the sellers are accused of using high pressure sales tactics.
The BBB says a trustworthy company will let you take time to think about the purchase, and compare prices before buying or putting down a deposit. It's also important to remember that in the valley, anyone selling anything door-to-door is required to have a Clark County Solicitor's License.
