USPS bracing for default on $5 billion
The U.S. Postal Service is asking Congress for a lifeline.
The USPS owes more than $5 billion in health care pre-payments for future retirees.
Postal officials said they don't have the money, so they're bracing for a default on this payment, as well as the one due at the end of next month.
