BBB email warning
The Better Business Bureau is warning the public about a gift card scam. People nationwide are receiving emails informing them that the BBB is giving away $1,000 Visa gift cards.
The emails contain different links to websites where you can allegedly claim your card. The BBB warns scammers are simply using the email to collect your personal information, like your name, address, and cell phone.
Remember to beware of any email asking for your info and claiming you've won any prize, sweepstakes, or lottery.
