Nevada car insurance rates are high
Nevada is home to some of the highest car insurance rates in the country. That's according to a study by CarInsuranceQuotes.com.
It found that the typical Nevada household pays 3.4% of its annual income on car insurance. But we're only number nine on the list.
Looking at the top five states for the highest rates, Kentucky comes in at the number three spot. Louisiana is number two and number one is Michigan, where residents face the steepest car insurance cost.
In case you're wondering, Massachusetts had the best rate. There, only 1.4% of median annual household income is spent on car insurance.
