Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A California firm is recalling a Trader Joe's product sold in Southern Nevada for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

14-ounce trays of Trader Joe's BBQ Chicken Salad are being recalled because of the diced onions used in the product.

Those onions are subject to an FDA recall.

The BBQ Chicken Salads have a use-by date through July 30. They were produced between July 20-24 and distributed in Southern Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Southern California and Texas.
