App helps military families make money decisions
Service men and women face unique finance issues like frequent moves and long deployments. To help, the Better Business Bureau is launching a free iPhone app this summer.
It's designed specifically for helping military families make smart money decisions. The educational app provides service members and their spouses with tools and tips for managing their finances. It even includes videos on topics like budgeting and dealing with debt.
The program is part of the First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden’s “Joining Forces" initiative. It calls on all sectors of society to give U.S. service members and their families the opportunities and support they deserve.
