With the air-conditioning on this time of year, we're all looking for ways to cut our energy bill.

A new study by the Electric Power Research Institute shows what appliances and devices are sucking the most power in your home.

It's no surprise your refrigerator is one of the worst offenders. It costs $65.72 annually to run your refrigerator. A desktop PC adds up to $28.21 a year.

A 60 watt compact fluorescent bulb costs $1.61. And you may be surprised by this one, the annual cost to charge an iPad is just $1.36. That's less than the cost to power that lightbulb.
