Stacey Gualandi joined the Action News Team as a general assignment reporter in July 2013.
Stacey recently moved to Las Vegas from Hollywood, where she built a career as a reporter, host, writer and producer.
Stacey spent eight years as a Senior Correspondent for the nationally syndicated news magazine, Inside Edition. There she tackled national, breaking and entertainment news. There was very little she wouldn't do for a story: She stayed awake for 80 hours to test the effects of sleep deprivation; painted the Hollywood sign; changed light bulbs on the Oakland Bridge; joined Cirque du Soleil; went undercover as a polio survivor to expose a deceitful televangelist; flew a plane after only 15 minutes of instruction; went mutton busting; and joined an all-female chain gang.
She has served as a host of Lifescript TV's "Ask the Doctor," Hallmark Channel's web-based show "On Location," Fox5 Vegas' "On Tour" and the multi-media project "Understanding Cancer."
Stacey also reported and produced for the nationally syndicated shows American Journal, Strange Universe and EXTRA.
She is currently the host of "The Women's Eye Radio Show" and is a contributor to the website thewomenseye.com.
Stacey earned a BS degree in broadcast journalism from Miami University. While attending college, she worked for the campus radio station, WMUB, spent a semester studying in Luxembourg and interned at WKRC in Cincinnati. After graduation, Stacey worked as a stand-in for actress Molly Ringwald before moving to Hollywood.
Stacey is a certified yoga and spin instructor and lives in Henderson with her husband Marty and mutts Wally and Bobo.
