She never expected to love Las Vegas but that's exactly what's happened to morning anchor Beth Fisher.

She moved to our city in 1999 for her career and shortly after met her husband Rian. Two kids and a St. Bernard later, Beth says there is no place she'd rather raise her family.

Beth graduated from Pacific University with a degree in journalism and literature.
After getting her foot in the door in Medford, Oregon, Beth moved from videotape editor to writer to reporter to primary anchor at that station.
After her move to Las Vegas, Beth spent the next eight years anchoring the 4 and 6 p.m. newscasts for another local station.  During that time, she was twice named best anchor in Las Vegas and earned an Emmy for her reporting on a medical hoax sweeping the Valley.
After her daughter was born, Beth decided to take a leave from her career to be a full-time mother. Beth says the years she spent focusing on her family and her community make her a better journalist.  She knows what issues matter to the people of Las Vegas and she is honored to be serving this city again.
In addition to anchoring the morning news, Beth reports on the people and places that make Las Vegas a better place to live. She enjoys people so reach out to her. Beth would love to hear from you via email or Facebook.
