Christian Boris

Christian Boris joined the Action News Team in October 2009 and is happy to call Las Vegas his new home. 

"Boris", as he is known to close friends, grew up in the four-season climate of southern New Jersey and attended Penn State University where he graduated with a degree in meteorology.  After four years there, he packed up and headed west to beautiful Bend, Oregon where he worked as KTVZ's Chief Meteorologist for six years.

During his time in Bend, Christian earned the American Meteorological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal.  His love of the great outdoors was featured in the weekly summer series "Boris' Big Adventure".

As for his other interests, he's always up for a cheesesteak and a good argument about pro sports.  He is a huge fan of the New York Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Christian is excited to opt out of the Pacific Northwest's gloomy winters and bask in the sunshine of Las Vegas.  In his spare time, he enjoys golf, swimming, and spontaneous road trips.
