College spring break is right around the corner but a number of students are being warned not to travel to Mexico.

Three universities in Arizona have issued or plan to issue a travel advisory to warn students about stepped-up violence south of the border, as well as kidnappings.

The spring breaks for those universities fall in the 2nd and 3rd week of March.

UNLV's spring break is in early April.

No word if unlv plans to issue a similar advisory.
