The Clark County School District took some time to honor some of its physical education teachers.
The seven honorees were named "teachers of the year" during a physical education conference Friday morning at Centennial High School.
The honorees come from Webb, Miller and Cannon Middle Schools, Northwest Career and Technical Academy, Liberty and Chaparral High Schools.
The honorees each received a plaque and a gift certificate to Niketown Las Vegas.
