Ashlee Tate DeMartino joined ABC 13 Action News as Weekend Weather Anchor/Reporter in November, 2008.

Ashlee moved to Las Vegas from Fresno, Ca., where she was working for KFSN, the ABC affiliate as Weekend Weather Anchor and Morning Show Reporter. She enjoyed being ABC's " Dancing With The Stars" correspondent and interviewing all the stars.

Before KFSN, Ashlee was Anchor and Executive Producer of the Morning and Midday Newscasts at KYMA in Yuma, AZ.

This Award winning journalist was honored by the Associated Press for "Investigative Reporting" for the in-depth coverage of the" Extreme Drought Conditions" plaguing the Las Vegas/Clark County area. She has also received the "Best Newscast" Award and was runner-up "Anchor of the Year" for the State of Arizona.

Ashlee's first reporting assignment was the shootout between the Hell's Angels and Mongols during the Laughlin River Run in 2002 with KLBC in Laughlin, NV.

She is no stranger to the desert southwest climate being raised in Phoenix where she graduated for Arizona State University with a BA in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism/Telecommunications (Go Devils!)

While attending ASU, she was also a Cheerleader for the Arizona Cardinals.

Currently Ashlee is completing her Degree in Geosciences at Mississippi State University with emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology.

Ashlee is a proud member of the National Weather Association, American Meteorology Society, AFTRA and National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Her free time is consumed with ballroom & ballet dance classes, traveling, friends and family and shoe shopping (298 pairs and counting!)
