Attorneys in the OJ Simpson robbery and kidnapping trial have seated a jury of 12 with 6 alternates.
Jury selection began Monday and Wednesday 40 prospective jurors were chosen.
Thursday, those were narrowed down to the 18.
The Defense challenged the Prosecution's dismissal of two African American women.
The Defense asked that they remain on the jury to maintain proper diversity.
Judge Jackie Glass ruled against them, claiming the District Attorney was not eliminating them because of their race.
She says the Prosecution provided sufficient evidence to dismiss them.
The 12 jurors are all Caucasian.
Simpson and co-defendant, C.J. Stewart, have each pleaded "not guilty" to 12 charges including felony kidnapping and armed robbery.
The charges stem from allegations that the men robbed two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint at the Palace Station Hotel last September.
This trial is a big commitment for jurors, as it is expected to last five weeks.
The jury took Friday off and will return Monday morning to hear opening arguments in the case.
