Codefendant In Simpson Case Renewing Appeal For Separate Trial

The codefendant in the OJ Simpson robbery case is renewing his appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court for a postponement or a separate trial.

The lawyer for Clarence "CJ" Stewart says questionnaires filled out by prospective jurors show opinions about Simpson will slant a jury against Stewart.

Lawyers for OJ Simpson say they are ready for next week's trial.

The trial starts Monday, September 8.
