The manhunt for a man accused of sexually assaulting two women in the parking lot of Desert Springs Hospital is over.
The FBI arrested Roy Trost Friday afternoon in Venice Beach, California.
The arrest ends a five day search for a suspect that police thought could have been armed and dangerous.
Trost's roommate, Marco Briody, says he called Metro Police Wednesday after he found a journal Trost had been keeping.
"I opened the journal and I read it and I was horrified. In the journal was a description of the activities that took place over in the parking lot of the hospital," said Marco Briody.
Briody says Trost took off when the cops got there.
Detectives found clothing described by one of the victims outside in a dumpster near the apartment.
They also found the replica gun they say was used in the attack.
19- year - old Roy Trost faces 13 charges, including sexually assaulting a minor, robbery, kidnapping and lewdness.
There is no word on when Trost will be brought back to face the charges against him.
