For the second year in a row the top independent restaurant for revenue in the nation is in Las Vegas.

According to a group called Restaurants and Institutions, Tao Las Vegas at The Venetian brought in more than $66 million last year.

Tao blew away Tavern On The Green in New York which came in a distant second at $38 million.

Joe's Stone Crab in Miami Beach came in third.

The other local restaurant in the top-10 was SW Steakhouse at the Wynn which came in ninth place.
