Buffalo Jim Barrier was a local business owner and pro - wrestler who was found dead in a local motel room last Sunday.
Action News anchor Casey Smith has more on the controversy surrounding his death.
"Buffalo Jim's" body was found at the Motel 6 on Boulder Highway and Desert Inn with a bottle of valium still in his hand.
Action News talked to "Buffalo Jim's" family who says they are convincing Metro Police this was not a suicide.
He was flashy, funny and feisty.
Buffalo Jim Barrier was the man obsessed for years with bringing down the Crazy Horse Too and its owner Rick Rizzolo is dead at 55.
Metro quickly decided it was a suicide, the family says it was anything but.
"I know he did not commit suicide. This was not him. This is all a set up. It is almost like a chemist put this together and did this it him," said Jennifer Barrier, "Buffalo Jim's" daughter.
Jennifer Barrier who is "Buffalo Jim's" daughter is convinced it was murder.
She says her father was a fighter and he would have never taken his own life.
"He was poisoned. He was poisoned. There were no marks to show that he was beaten, stabbed, you know, shot or anything, but they poisoned him, they murdered him, they did it to him," said Jennifer Barrier.
Jennifer says Metro is ready to investigate but a police spokesman say there is no investigation going on right now.
She also says Metro has surveillance tape from the Motel 6 the night her father died.
"Buffalo Jim" claimed victory when Rick Rizzolo was sentenced to a year and a day in prison.
Rizzolo was released last Friday and "Buffalo Jim" Barrier died on Saturday.
"I am going to get to the bottom of this and this is what my Dad would have done for me, my sisters and his friends," said Jennifer Barrier.
Jennifer says the family has hired a private investigator and is having an independent autopsy done.
She says she is moving back to Las Vegas and will not rest until her father's killer or killers are punished.
