It has been nearly two weeks since 81 year old Opal Parsons disappeared.
Right now Metro is still waiting for a big break in the case.
However, her son believes it could be the same person who has been targeting elderly women in the area.
On Wednesday, it will be 14 days since Opal Parsons went missing.
Her son believes her disappearance could be tied to other elderly crimes here in the valley.
Last week a man was caught using Opal's ATM card after claiming to have found her purse in a dumpster.
Still, on Monday, another three mile search between Opal's home and Sam's Town turned up nothing.
At this time, Metro receives about 1,400 missing persons cases a month.
With only eight detectives, they are working around the clock to solve them as fast as possible.
But sometimes such cases get put on the back burner until a major clue pops up.
In the meantime, Opal's son is relying on his faith to get him through this frustrating ordeal.
America's Most Wanted is expected to run a national piece on Opal in the near future.
