The search resumed this morning for an 81 year old east valley woman, missing for more than a week now.
Opal Parsons vanished from her home on August 30.
Fifteen searchers set out on foot and by ATV looking for any clue, particle of clothing or anything that could lead them to Parsons.
Teams searched a three and a half mile route beginning at Charleston and Nellis, near her home.
They ended at Sam's Town, where some of Parsons' personal belonging were found.
Most volunteers say they saw the story on the news and wanted to help.
In the end, they are left without any new leads. But no one is ready to give up.
Metro detectives believe Parsons was taken against her will.
Her front door was unlocked and her van left in the driveway.
A family is searching for an answer and police say they will not stop until they find one.
If you think you have seen Opal Parsons, or know anything about her disappearance, please call Metro's missing persons unit at 828-LOST.
