Here is your chance to have a weather forecaster from the Action News Weather First team visit your school or classroom, and teach a fun class in basic weather.

As a bonus, the entire class will be seen on Channel 13 Action News!  Be sure to watch Action News and to check KTNV.com to see video of recent classroom visits.

These visits MUST be set up by teachers or administrators only.

Our forecasters have developed programs for all different ages, from Kindergarten through College Students.

Teachers/Administrators:  To sign up your classroom, please fill out the form below or call 702-257-8444.  Someone from Action News will contact you to discuss possible dates and times for your school visit.

* Channel 13 Action News Weather Forecasters will come to a classroom and speak about the weather.  They will do a 30-45 minute presentation on the science of weather, the different types of clouds and the mystery of Mother Nature.  They will also answer questions.  These programs are best for elementary schools, but we do have a program for middle and high schools too.  While there, KTNV will take video of the kids in the classroom and share them on-air and online with our audience. *

KTNV also has many other personalities that can come and speak to your classes on a variety of topics, the media, career day, reading week, etc.  All we ask is that you give us plenty of notice to ensure availability.
